Using instagram as a platform for science communication
Alternative facts, fake news, outright science denial, ... There is a lot of it on the internet, and especially on social media. More and more people only seem to get their daily info through the internet, and unfortunately the accuracy of that info is not always that great. Combine that with anti-establishment sentiments, and you soon realize we have a problem.

As numerous other scientists out there, I have decided to join the fight against pseudoscience and b*llsh*t. My aim is to inform people on sciencitfic facts, studies and the process of science itself. Only by being open about what we do in the lab, and most importantly why we do it (i.e., to help society and its people, not to enrich ourselves or big pharma), we will be able to turn the tide. We need to show the world that science has a face and a voice, and it is the face and voice of a young and fierce generation of science communicators that is ready to fight back.
